His raw material comes from both native and introduced species, predominately sourced from the West Coast and Canterbury.
Woods are seasoned for lengthy periods before being force dried to very low moisture contents prior to turning, giving exceptionally stable finished articles.
Mark has a very good eye to the forms within the wood, bringing these to life in his bowls.
