Koauau measures 13.5cm x 1.8cm x 1.8cm 

Kōauau traditionally were made from various woods, kelp, albatross wing bones, human bones and probably moa bones, and ranging in length from about 10cm to 40cm. They commonly have three finger-holes, known as wenewene.
