John Guise - Craftsman
John Guise is a retired Southland farmer who resided in Cromwell for 8 years before relocating to Rangiora several years ago to "retire again".
John has been supplying Silver Fern Gallery with his crafted walking sticks over many years when able to do so. Unfortunately, life recently got in the way again for John, and he is no longer able to produce work.
In his willingness to share knowledge about his creations, his move to Rangiora allowed him to team up with another one of our artists, and they quickly formed a rekindled friend and mentor relationship, ensuring the legacy continues.
